Jefferson Health is seeking a Supply Chain Dock Operations Director to lead dock operations across the health system, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient inbound and outbound freight supporting uninterrupted patient care.

You will direct dock labor planning, carrier coordination, scheduling, and throughput, while partnering with distribution, inventory, procurement, and clinical teams to optimize end-to-end logistics and cost performance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7–10 years in distribution, dock operations, warehousing, or transportation within healthcare or complex environments.
• Proven multi-site leadership with focus on service, cost, and safety.
• Expert knowledge of dock operations, freight receiving/shipping, and healthcare logistics requirements.
• Experience with ERP/WMS and dock scheduling/visibility tools.

Responsabilidades

• Directs health system dock operations for inbound receiving and outbound shipping, coordinating with carriers and internal teams.
• Leads and develops dock leadership and frontline teams with staffing, training, and performance expectations.
• Defines and monitors dock KPIs (on-time arrivals, dwell time, productivity) and drives corrective actions.
• Ensures OSHA/DOT compliance and audit readiness; implements corrective actions.
• Standardizes dock SOPs for receiving accuracy, documentation, and exception management.
• Collaborates with procurement, finance, and clinical stakeholders to improve procure-to-pay and data integrity.
• Leads continuous improvement and technology initiatives (dock scheduling, scanning, WMS/ERP enhancements).
