Job summary

University of Massachusetts Amherst seeks an Associate Director of Dining Services to oversee UMass Catering and Campus Center Blue Wall. This role supervises management teams, chefs, and staff, delivering nutritionally balanced meals and maintaining high guest services.

You will manage budgets, develop marketing plans, and ensure compliance with university policies and state regulations, including alcohol service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, marketing, or related field required.
• Five years of management experience in hospitality.
• Experience in sales and marketing, event planning, budgeting, and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises staff for UMass Catering and Campus Center Blue Wall.
• Organizes work across multiple customer-facing outlets and sets priorities.
• Oversees budgets and uses KPIs to measure the business.
• Develops and oversees annual business and marketing plans.
• Ensures food safety, quality, and guest satisfaction.
