Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Director of DevOps, Support, and Operations to lead the DSCX portfolio. The role focuses on vulnerability remediation, reliability, and automation, guiding a team of engineers in a complex, hybrid cloud environment that includes AWS, Palantir Foundry, and on-premise solutions.

Responsibilities include driving SLA/SLO/SLI, incident management, disaster recovery, and sunsetting legacy systems, while partnering with security and TPMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with extensive professional experience (see minimum qualifications).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Application Operations and IT.
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability remediation and high-priority defects across the portfolio.
• Automate to reduce toil and standardize CI/CD and IaC practices where applicable.
• Lead a distributed team with on-call responsibilities and DR planning.
