Job summary

Zingage in New York City seeks a Head of Deployment & Customer Operations to build and scale AI-enabled customer operations. You will lead deployment, support, and account management, working closely with founders, Product, and Engineering to shape the roadmap and execute repeatable deployments.

As the senior operator, you will own onboarding efficiency, escalate solving, and the growth of a small team into a scalable function that can handle future customer expansion and higher retention.

Qualifications

• Proven experience running onboarding, deployment, or service operations.
• Experience managing people and capacity while maintaining delivery.
• Ability connect frontline problems to a sequenced roadmap.
• Hands-on customer and operational work.
• Experience building AI-enabled workflows and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Personally run deployments and build playbooks to scale operations.
• Define ownership, steps, and blockers for each account’s deployment.
• Lead the team, allocate work, coach people, and plan coverage.
• Build a quarterly improvement roadmap and decide which customer segments to prioritize.
• Ensure support is dependable from first report through resolution, and feed insights to product/process improvements.
• Empower account managers with tools to demonstrate value and retain customers.
• Use AI tools to create practical workflows and test them with the team.
