Zep AI is seeking an experienced engineer and leader to set the standard for how we deploy and operate at enterprise scale. You will own deployments from architecture talks to production, pair with our engineers, and be onsite when needed.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable implementations. You will ship production-grade code, define engagement models, and lead a growing team to reduce bespoke work and codify learnings into product

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years across software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or sales engineering, with several of those years as a hands-on engineer.
• 3+ years leading customer-facing technical people, or a clear case for why you are ready to.
• Shipped a non-trivial agentic system to production, not a prototype or wrapper over a chat API.
• Comfortable in customer infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and BYOC installation work.

Aufgaben

• Own the technical outcome for the largest accounts from first architecture convo through 90 days in production.
• Write code including integration work, reference architectures, deployment tooling, and product fixes.
• Deploy Zep inside customer infrastructure across Managed, BYOK, and BYOC with platform and security teams.
• Define the engagement model and decide which accounts get embedded support and pricing.
• Hire the team and lead the engineers you bring in.
• Reduce custom work per deployment by building reference architectures and product requirements.
• Feed learnings from production back into the roadmap with the engineers.
