Job summary

Athene is seeking a Senior VP Sales, Defined Contribution to drive private assets and Vitera guaranteed income with retirement advisors in a national territory. You will own the territory plan, manage relationships with recordkeepers, and lead advisor education in collaboration with product specialists.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales or relevant experience.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors, recordkeeper teams, and defined contribution practices.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; capable of building executive-level relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams to convert partnerships into local adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, pipeline milestones, and measurable sales outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations, coordinating with product specialists for depth.
• Collaborate with Apollo's Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage and share market insights.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
• Utilize CRM data and market intelligence to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
