Job summary

Athene is seeking a VP of Sales, Defined Contribution to drive DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income sales to retirement advisors in an assigned territory. You will partner with recordkeepers and field teams, manage relationships, and maintain a strong pipeline with defined targets and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong command of advisor-led and recordkeeper channels and opportunities.
• Knowledge of the defined contribution market and ERISA fundamentals; private assets or guaranteed income preferred.
• Strong presentation skills and sound judgment for varying opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; FINRA licensing as noted.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera DC offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, cadence, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations with product specialists as needed.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
• Use CRM data and market intelligence to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
