Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a transformative VP, Data Center Solutions to lead the global data center strategy and drive growth across North America. This role demands deep market insight, strong financial acumen, and exceptional people leadership to build a high-performing team and guide organic and inorganic expansion in a changing market.

The role can be based anywhere in the United States with travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in vertical market management, including 5+ years in people leadership.
• Minimum of 3 years of Data Center market experience.
• Proven success leading cross-functional strategies resulting in sales growth.
• Commercial building industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Global Data Center Solutions strategy and value proposition.
• Identify growth opportunities through market analysis and customer insights.
• Oversee portfolio, roadmap, and monetization for Data Center products and solutions.
• Lead the Data Center team and integration efforts for acquisitions.
• Partner with finance on business cases, ROI, budgeting and forecasting.
• Build partnerships across the organization and with industry associations.
