Job summary

Cloudflare seeks an experienced Data Center Operations manager to build and run a distributed team across US data centers. You will own sites end-to-end, from greenfield builds to production, balancing deadlines with quality and compliance.

You'll lead on-site engineers, coordinate with vendors, and ensure 24x7 availability while documenting every site in DCIM. Travel to sites is expected as projects progress.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data center operations with multi-site experience.
• Directly managing on-site technical teams across locations.
• Experience with greenfield builds, production runs and decommissioning.
• Strong DCIM and asset management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop and manage Data Center Engineers on-site at US data centers.
• Own build timelines from site readiness to production handoff.
• Run 24x7 on-call rotation and incident SLAs as footprint grows.
• Coordinate vendors and colocation providers to hit build dates.
• Maintain accurate site documentation in DCIM from day one.
