Cloudflare is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager to build and run a distributed team across key US sites. You will own sites through full lifecycles from greenfield builds to production operations and end-of-life decommissioning.

You will balance build deadlines with quality, manage vendor interactions, and maintain proactive incident response while ensuring compliance and security across the footprint.

Qualificações

• 6+ years in data center operations with 3+ years of on-site team management.
• Experience operating multi-site data center fleets at hyperscale or large-cloud scale.
• Strong program management across vendors, sites and time-bound workstreams.

Responsabilidades

• Own on-site data center engineers across US sites, setting expectations and career paths.
• Create a 24x7 on-call rotation and incident SLAs for the footprint.
• Coordinate vendors and colocation partners to meet build and production goals.
• Oversee site readiness, hardware delivery, rack-and-stack, cabling, validation and handoff to production.
• Manage on-site decommissioning end-to-end: unracking, chain of custody, and secure destruction.
• Ensure documentation in DCIM from day one: rack elevations, power, cabling, asset location.
• Partner with tooling teams to bring DCIM online at new sites and maintain documentation standards.
