Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a data center and network operations professional to maintain our global network infrastructure across multiple remote locations and on-site in major US cities. You will collaborate with SRE and Network Engineering teams, manage remote contractors, and drive automation to improve operational efficiency and reliability.

This role requires hands-on experience with Juniper, Cisco, DWDM, Linux administration, and Jira, along with strong communication and project-management

Qualifications

Experience with data center operations and remote contracts.
Strong Linux systems administration
Familiarity with network equipment (Juniper, Cisco, DWDM)
Ability to manage on-call rotations and incident response
Experience with Jira for planning and tracking

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network Engineering and SRE teams to manage datacenter tasks across 330+ cities and 125+ countries.
Maintain Data Center environment operational availability.
Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and speed up documentation and troubleshooting.
Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and MOps.
Support and configure network infrastructure where required and participate in vendor partnerships.
Drive automation and improvements to delivery and operational processes.
