Job summary

Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a hands-on analytics leader to shape the data strategy across hospitality, digital ordering, loyalty, and in-cafe experiences. You will partner with Engineering and business teams to turn data into decisions and establish a single source of truth.

You are a clear communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration, with 6+ years in analytics or BI, and a track record of delivering insight that informs executive decisions and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in analytics, data science, or business intelligence, ideally in hospitality, retail, or food and beverage.
• Expert SQL and experience with modern data and BI tools and ERP/Planning systems.
• Experience using AI tools and experiment design with POS, loyalty, or digital ordering data.

Responsibilities

• Set the data and analytics roadmap, partnering with Engineering on infrastructure and single source of truth.
• Drive AI reporting and analytics, using Claude to help management teams quickly analyze performance.
• Lead guest analytics across app, ordering, subscriptions, and loyalty, connecting digital and in-cafe behavior.
