Job summary

Tempus AI is seeking a Director of Data & AI Partnerships to lead the Life Sciences team in developing strategies and partnerships with top pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms.

This senior role requires a background in drug development, strong sales skills, and ability to negotiate complex contracts, while fostering relationships to support innovation in precision medicine. The position is based in New York with a salary range of $140,000 to $210,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business Development, Sales, and/or Consulting in Life Sciences as lead account and relationship manager.
• 3+ years working on Oncology assets or related projects.
• Strong understanding of molecular and real-world data in drug discovery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive global account strategy with scientific and business operations teams.
• Meet and exceed revenue goals for Tempus Data and AI products.
• Negotiate, secure and manage contracts with assigned client accounts.
• Travel approximately 30-40 days a year, domestically and internationally.

Skills

Knowledge of drug development and/or oncology

Education

Bachelor degree in a Science or Business discipline

Advanced degree (MBA, PhD or Healthcare certification)
