Job summary

SonarSource in Austin is seeking a Manager, Customer Solutions Engineering to lead Sonar’s new CSE hub. You will hire, develop, and inspire a team of Customer Solutions Engineers and set the operating rhythm and culture from day one.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Support to deliver outstanding technical outcomes for Mid-Market and Enterprise customers, drive adoption, and ensure retention and expansion while coaching the team to excel in CI/CD, SLDC practices, and Sonar platform

Qualifications

8+ years in Solutions Engineering or related customer-facing tech roles.
3+ years in people management or team leadership.
Strong business acumen and executive stakeholder experience.
Fluent in English; based in Austin or willing to relocate.
Deep fluency in modern software development practices (CI/CD, DevSecOps).

Responsibilities

Lead and build the Austin CSE hub, defining culture, operating norms and execution rhythms.
Hire, onboard and develop a high-performing team of Customer Solutions Engineers.
Drive customer outcomes at scale across Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts; ensure retention and expansion.
Coach and develop your team through regular 1:1s, career plans, and performance reviews.
