Job summary

Scribd is seeking a Director of Content Intelligence & Supply to own and grow our 400-million-document UGC corpus as a strategic asset. You will unify content understanding and supply under one leadership, collaborate with applied ML, engineering, and data science teams, and shape the org’s direction and roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading product teams
• Genuine data fluency and ability to partner with ML and data science teams
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership
• Experience with content licensing or B2B data products is a plus
• Depth in data-heavy product domains: ML/AI-powered products, search, recommendations, content platforms or marketplaces
• Experience with supply-side or two-sided product dynamics: creators, contributors, sellers, or content acquisition

Responsibilities

• Own the content understanding roadmap across classification, enrichment, metadata, and quality.
• Unify content acquisition strategy across UGC, partnerships, and related programs.
• Connect supply to demand by partnering with consumer product teams to maximize value.
• Set direction for corpus analysis work with credibility alongside ML, engineering and data science teams.
• Oversee UGC supply end-to-end: uploads, conversions, and contributor experience.
• Lead senior product leaders and established programs with dedicated squads
