Job summary

TikTok is seeking a strategic Head of Content Governance for TikTok Shop in the United States. You will define the vision for content and creator policy, lead the US policy team, and partner across Legal, Product, Trust & Safety, Engineering, Operations, and Data Science to ensure a safe and engaging shopping experience.

You will drive risk detection, adopt AI/LLM technologies, and align policy with international standards while maintaining local relevance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 10+ years of experience, with 4+ years in Content Health & Safety, Creator Governance, Trust & Safety, Internet Safety, Ecosystem Health or related fields.
• 3+ years leading high-performing teams in similar roles.
• Proven track record developing, implementing, and enforcing end-to-end content safety and governance policies.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management across cross-functional teams including executives.
• Strong business judgment translating product, policy, and data insights into strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• - Develop and lead Content Policy Strategy: define vision and roadmap for TikTok Shop Content in the United States.
• - Lead a high-performing policy team in the US with mentorship and development.
• - Drive cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Product, Trust & Safety, Engineering, Operations and Data Science.
• - Innovate risk detection and governance strategies; leverage data, market trends, and LLMs to enhance policy effectiveness.
• - Champion globalization alignment to ensure local relevance and global consistency.
