Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Director of Software Engineering in the Digital Technology group to lead a Content and Experimentation platform, driving scalable delivery, targeting, and rapid iteration through experimentation.

You will partner across Product, Design, Data/Analytics and Marketing to set roadmaps, SLAs, and measurable outcomes while enforcing security and governance in a cloud-native AWS environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage complex items within your domain.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
• Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
• Experience leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use and governance in engineering workflows.
• Practical cloud native experience, especially AWS.

Responsibilities

• Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives
• Accountable for decisions that influence teams' resources, budget, tactical operations, and processes
• Sets direction and governance for AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation within a technical area
• Applies knowledge of SDLC toolchain to improve automation and capacity unlock initiatives
• Owns the engineering strategy and execution for a Content and Experimentation platform
• Partners with Product, Design, Data/Analytics, and Marketing to define roadmaps and SLAs/SLOs
• Establishes platform governance for experimentation including A/B/n testing and rollout strategies
• Drives cloud-native delivery on AWS with security and reusable platform capabilities
