Ally Financial is seeking a Director of Consumer Underwriting to provide strategic oversight for an assigned territory. You will lead a team of Consumer Underwriters, ensure risk controls, and promote excellent customer service while driving portfolio growth and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• 9+ years experience in underwriting and/or auto finance required.
• Leadership experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
• Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise.
• Ability to leverage technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.
• Technical knowledge, project management, and ability to influence others.
• Minimum Qualifications 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent
