Job summary

Artemis Lifestyles is seeking a Director of Community Upkeep to lead maintenance across residential and commercial properties in our HOA communities. You will develop comprehensive strategies, supervise in-house and vendor teams, and collaborate with property managers and residents to address upkeep needs proactively.

The role requires budgeting oversight, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in property management, facilities maintenance, or community upkeep, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic maintenance plans for multiple properties to ensure high standards of community upkeep.
• Manage and supervise maintenance teams and external contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
• Coordinate with property managers and residents to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation for maintenance operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Implement and monitor compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies related to property upkeep.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess property conditions and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, budgets, and community feedback for senior management.
• Lead initiatives to enhance sustainability and energy efficiency within community properties.
