Job summary

EarnIn is seeking an experienced Head of Communications to set the strategy for communications across the organization, working with the CEO and Marketing on campaigns and thought leadership. The role emphasizes reputational risk management and proactive storytelling for EarnIn’s products, B2B offerings, and policy initiatives.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a small team, manage external agencies, and collaborate with government relations to advance policy communications.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in media relations or communications.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience leading external agencies.
• Proven track record with measurable PR campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.
• Ability to work with executives and cross-functional teams.
• Fintech experience preferred; agency or consultancy is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy across Product, B2B, and Policy.
• Build and execute proactive PR programs and media relations.
• Align PR with milestones and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Support top-of-funnel marketing initiatives including PR, social, events.
• Serve as thought leader on internal communications.
• Manage and mentor team (currently 1) and work with external agencies.
• Collaborate with social marketing to ensure brand alignment.
• Partner with government relations for policy communications.
