Job summary

EarnIn is seeking a seasoned Head of Communications to shape the company’s narrative and reputation. You will lead cross-functional messaging for EarnIn’s products, policy initiatives, and B2B efforts, partnering with the CEO to elevate leadership visibility and guide proactive storytelling.

The role demands strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a proven ability to manage external agencies while delivering clear, measurable communications programs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in media relations, communications, or public affairs with a track record of success
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
• Experience leading external agencies and managing vendor relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to develop, deploy, and activate multi-channel campaigns with measurable impact
• Experience with policy communications and corporate reputation programs

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy across Product, B2B, and Policy.
• Lead a proactive PR program, manage media inquiries, and build journalist relationships.
• Align PR with business milestones and coordinate with stakeholders for timely deliverables.
• Support top-of-funnel marketing initiatives across PR, social, and events.
• Serve as a thought leader on internal communications and executive messaging.
• Mentor the team and manage external agencies and partnerships.
• Collaborate with social marketing to ensure aligned brand messaging.
• Partner with government relations to support policy communications.
