The Externals Group is expanding its Commercial Roofing division in Florida and seeks a commercially minded operations leader to own from bidding through project delivery and growth. This role offers a high-impact opportunity within a $100M+ organization, with leadership over processes, team building and strategic direction across Florida.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior operations role within the commercial roofing industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, projects and construction processes.
• Demonstrable experience with commercial roofing estimating and bidding.
• Experience overseeing large-scale commercial projects (2M–30M+).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of establishing and developing the new Commercial Roofing division.
• Develop and implement operational processes, systems and procedures for growth.
• Lead bidding and estimating for commercial roofing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, general contractors and internal teams to identify opportunities.
• Oversee projects from bid to completion, ensuring safety, timeliness and quality.
• Build and develop the roofing team as the division grows.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, margins and profitability.
• Shape the company’s commercial roofing strategy across Florida.
