Job summary

QXO is seeking a Director of Sales (Residential) to lead statewide residential sales across Florida. You will manage five direct reports and a broader team of about 50 reps, developing and executing statewide plans, strengthening contractor relationships, and driving profitable growth in roofing and exterior building products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction, Building Materials, etc.
• Strong leadership, mentorship and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web conferencing.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a sales team across Florida, driving revenue growth and market share.
• Develop statewide residential sales plans with goals for revenue, gross margin, and new accounts.
• Translate goals into territory/account plans and align resources with market opportunities.
• Coach field teams in selling skills and relationship-building with contractors and key accounts.
• Monitor KPIs, pipeline, quotes, and margin; adjust coaching as needed.
• Ensure pricing discipline while balancing value, competitiveness, and profitability.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Branch leadership to meet customer needs.
• Travel regularly to support branches, customers, and assess market conditions.
