Job summary

Selective Insurance, a leading U.S. property and casualty carrier, seeks a Senior BI & Analytics leader in New Jersey to drive the analytics roadmap for Underwriting and Claims.

You will deliver dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions, partner with cross-functional teams, and lead data-driven initiatives across regions to improve profitability and operational effectiveness. You will oversee a team, manage projects, and stay ahead of industry trends while ensuring governance of data

Qualifications

• College degree preferred with 10 years in underwriting, claims, loss control, or financial services.
• 5+ years specific claims experience preferred.
• 5+ years leading teams on BI projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of a business intelligence strategy including dashboards, scorecards and reporting solutions.
• Identify and monitor factors influencing Underwriting and Claims performance to drive growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to solve problems and manage project plans.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, communications, and change management.
• Develop data-driven decision making capabilities and leverage third-party data sources.
