Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft BI tools - Cognos, MS SharePoint, SQL, Access, Excel.
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Data warehouse analysis and design experience; data modeling a plus.
• Strong customer service, networking, and relationship-building skills; interface with senior management.
• General insurance industry knowledge.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of a business intelligence strategy including dashboards, scorecards and reporting solutions.
• Identify and monitor factors influencing Underwriting and Claims performance to drive premium growth and profitability.
• Determine frameworks for addressing business problems and lead cross-functional collaboration; oversee analyses and project plans.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, communications, and change management related to knowledge management.
• Develop data-driven decision making capabilities and identify opportunities for new data sources.
• Partner with IT on the data warehouse and BI environment development and support.
• Monitor claim performance factors and incorporate insights into strategic/financial plans; quantify benefits of projects.
