Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Food Service Operations Director to lead all daily culinary and service operations at our on-site, high-volume summer camps across the United States. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and allergen-safety management in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise staff, ensure scratch cooking standards, manage inventory and budgets, and coordinate with campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical: ability to stand long hours, work in hot/cold kitchen, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Live on-site in rustic setting, 6-day/70-hour weeks, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary and service operations and staff management.
• Manage menu specs, portion control, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Enforce allergen protocols and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory, purchasing, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate.
