Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on leadership role at our rural, on-site summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This seasonal contract runs May through September with a 6-day, 70-hour workweek, live-on-site housing, competitive pay, a bonus structure, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens certification required before start; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety.
• Lead FOH and kitchen staff scheduling, training, and maintain a high-energy environment.
• Ensure allergen safety protocols and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
