Job summary

VeryAI is hiring its first Head of Business Development to own the BD function from strategy to signed deals. You will set targets, build the pipeline, close the largest enterprise and platform deals, and hire the team that grows with you. You will report to the CEO and work side by side with Product and Engineering.

Strong candidates have built or run a BD function at a biometric, KYC, identity verification, or digital trust company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales at biometric/identity/privacy sector.

Responsibilities

• Set the BD strategy and revenue targets across enterprise, platform, and institutional buyers.
• Build and own the pipeline; close the largest strategic deals and partnerships.
• Define the sales playbook, deal process, and pricing with CEO and Product.
• Manage and coach BD/Sales Managers and grow the team as the function expands.
• Build executive relationships at financial institutions and compliance-heavy enterprises.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate market feedback into roadmap priorities.
• Own the BD budget, CRM, and pipeline reporting; report results to CEO.
• Represent VeryAI at events and client meetings; track emerging opportunities.
