Job summary

Ralliant in the United States seeks a Director, Application & Technical Service to lead a unified technical organization supporting customers from discovery through project conversion and installed-base care.

You will bring Applications Support, Field Service and Regional FAEs under one organization, raise technical selling capability, and create a scalable model for winning more projects while improving the customer experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial automation, process instrumentation, or related technical market.
• Experience leading customer-facing application engineering or technical service teams.
• Ability to connect customer processes to revenue opportunities.
• Experience with distributors, system integrators, OEMs, and end users.
• Proven track record building teams and driving cross-functional change.
• Strong executive communication and leadership development skills.
• Comfort as a working leader in a transformation environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Application Support, Field Service and Regional FAE capabilities under one operating model.
• Hire and build the Regional FAE team across East, Central and West with focus on high-value applications.
• Establish engagement and handoff models between Account Managers, Regional Sales Leaders, Application Support, FAEs, Field Service, Product and Engineering.
• Build a proactive applications organization that identifies customer needs and converts opportunities into specifications and wins.
• Raise the technical and application capability of the commercial team through coaching and training.
• Improve Application Support by establishing qualification, escalation and lead-routing standards and SLAs.
• Lead Field Service/Technical Service as post-sale technical capability with focus on response and first-time fix.
• Create a closed feedback loop from field issues into Product, Quality, Operations and Engineering.
• Partner with Regional Sales Leaders on strategic accounts and resource prioritization.
• Define KPIs and operating cadence for applications and technical services.
• Shape long-term technical organization and talent strategy as the business scales.
