The Director, Analytics Engineering will scale a high-performing team, establish an operating model with clear priorities, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will lead governance, data quality, and semantic layers to support AI-powered insights.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI engineering or related field.
• 5+ years leading and developing technical teams.
• Experience building governed data models and semantic layers.
• Experience designing data quality, observability, governance and lineage systems.
• Advanced SQL and production experience with modern data stack (AWS, Databricks, Airbyte, Fivetran, Looker).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional data initiatives from strategy to production.
• Strong judgement balancing quick wins with long-term data product investments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and executive stakeholders.
