You will build and lead a high-performing team, create a robust operating model, and partner with product, technology, and business teams to turn data into trusted, actionable insights. Your leadership will focus on governance, data quality, and scalable data products, while enabling intelligent decision-making across the company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI engineering or related discipline, including 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Proven track record of building, scaling, and leading high performing teams that are valued as strategic partners.
• Depth in building governed, canonical data models and semantic layers with one authoritative definition.
• Experience designing data quality, observability, documentation, governance, access control, privacy, lineage and evaluation systems.
• Advanced SQL skills and production experience with modern data stack (AWS, Databricks, Airbyte, Fivetran, Looker).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional data initiatives from strategy through production adoption and measurable business impact.
• Strong judgment balancing immediate stakeholder needs with long-term investments in reusable data products and platform health.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical teams, stakeholders, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and lead a high performing Analytics Engineering team.
• Establish an operating model that creates structure without bureaucracy and fosters culture and collaboration.
• Define technical foundations and standards enabling teams to work confidently and independently.
• Guide data modeling, governance, quality, tooling, and developer experience; align investments with company priorities.
• Drive agentic coding, AI-assisted development, and automated workflows to increase impact without replacing judgment.
