Job summary

Novo in New York City is seeking a Head of Recruiting to own how the company hires across North America (USA & LatAm). You will lead a scalable, AI-aided recruiting system, partnering with the People and AI platform teams to deliver fast, respectful candidate experiences.

You'll oversee full-cycle recruiting across Product, Customer Experience, Credit, Banking Operations and more; build pipelines, tune interview loops, manage offers, and ensure compliance with US and Canadian requirements while

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, in-house or agency, with fintech/banking or high-growth startup exposure
• Experience hiring across multiple functions like product, CX, credit, operations, banking, and compliance
• Hands-on experience with AI-based recruiting tools and ability to tune prompts and rubrics
• Fluent with modern ATS (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever) and maintain data hygiene
• Legal awareness of US employment law and Canadian norms as applicable

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across North America—from kickoff to offer and close
• Partner with hiring managers to write job descriptions, define scorecards, and build interview loops
• Develop and maintain pipelines for recurrent roles to avoid zero-starts
• Operate and optimize AI-based sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication tools
• Ensure a high-quality candidate experience and compliant processes across US/Canada
• Track funnel metrics and continuously improve sourcing and interviewing workflows
