Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects focused on multi-agent memory design, context systems, RAG, and advanced search capabilities.

The role involves hands-on coding, mentoring, and collaboration with AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure teams to deliver scalable AI solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiar with AI-native development tools/code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages like Go, Rust, Java.
• Understanding of AI native design principles and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps, and modern IDEs.
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems for replication across AI-native designs.
• Develop context systems including RAG and semantic chunking for search.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against agent and human evaluations.
• Create integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Lead AI native design processes and mentor team members.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure teams for practical outcomes.
• Support business development activities and IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a team building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
