Job summary

Point is building a new AI Enablement function and seeks a dual-mandate leader to own reliability, delivery, and cloud foundations for a lending business. You will partner with corporate functions and Operations to automate and augment work with AI, while working with IT and Security to keep enablement safe and compliant.

You will shape technical direction, drive adoption, and define success metrics across both mandates, influencing how the company applies AI from the platform up.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, platform, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years leading and growing engineering teams.
• Experience shipping AI automations to production (LLM agents, tool calling, RAG, orchestration).
• Proven ability to tie automation or platform work to measurable business outcomes.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and at least one cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead the infrastructure platform and shared-services organization across SRE and infra.
• Own reliability, CI/CD, IaC, cloud platforms, containers, release tooling, observability, and security/compliance.
• Stand up and run AI Enablement as the central hub of sanctioned platform work.
• Partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations to design AI-enabled workflows.
• Define roadmaps and success metrics; drive adoption and cost efficiency.
• Stay current on AI/automation to evolve the roadmap.
