Job summary

Finastra seeks a strategic Head of Lending Architecture & Platform Engineering to guide the architecture, modernization, and scalability of the Lending technology platform. You will define the technology vision, drive cloud adoption, and lead AI enablement across Lending products and environments.

You will partner with product, infrastructure, security, and data teams to ensure secure, scalable SaaS solutions that accelerate business growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering experience and technical leadership or architecture roles.
• Deep experience designing scalable, distributed, cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven success leading platform or infrastructure teams supporting developer tools, shared services, or internal platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI-driven and modern application development practices (CI/CD, containers, microservices, IaC, observability).
• Experience designing and scaling platforms that support AI use cases.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the architectural vision, strategy, and long-term scalability of the Lending platform.
• Lead development of shared platform services and tooling to improve developer productivity and system performance.
• Collaborate with product, security, data, and infrastructure teams to align architecture with business goals.
• Drive modernization, cloud migration, and AI enablement across Lending products and environments.
• Oversee governance, security, resilience, and compliance at the platform level.
• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of platform engineers and architects.
