Job summary

Vindexa is hiring a Role-First Sales Hire to build the commercial foundation from the ground up. You will own outbound, shape the GTM motion, and partner with the CEO to move from first customer to ten.

This early-stage role rewards initiative and hands-on execution: design ICPs, implement CRM and reporting, craft sequences, and close deals with AI-enabled workflows. Onsite in Santa Monica preferred, remote considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• You have done outbound B2B sales or business development before.
• You are genuinely AI-native and can show working workflows with LLMs or automation tools.
• You have operated without a playbook at a small company and embraced it.
• You write well for busy executives.
• Preference for onsite in Santa Monica, CA but remote considered for the right candidate.
• Some exposure to cleantech, energy, construction, or regulated industries is a plus.
• You are comfortable with tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Clay or equivalents.
• You want to own a function, not inherit one.

Responsibilities

• Own the outbound engine from scratch, including ICP lists, sequencing, messaging, and iteration.
• Build RevOps infrastructure: CRM data model, pipeline stages, and reporting.
• Co-create content to open doors: case studies, one-pagers, email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach.
• GTM partner to the CEO: collaborate on strategy, sequencing, and positioning as you move from first customer to first ten.
