Job summary

Encore AI is hiring in New York to lead the North America sales function. You will manage a team of AEs and a sales engineer, selling directly with the CEO into mid-size US banks and lenders. You will codify ICPs, prioritize pipeline, and establish a proof-of-value pilot structure to accelerate deals.

You will build reference assets from successful pilots and expand pipeline sources beyond the CEO’s network, while reporting progress to the CEO and board.

Qualifications

• Has managed a small team of AEs while still carrying their own pipeline (player-coach).
• Built a sales motion at an early stage with ICP definition and pilot process.
• Experience selling into regulated or complex financial services environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of AEs and a sales engineer from day one, growing the team to 5 AEs by year end.
• Sell alongside the CEO into mid-size US banks and lenders.
• Define ICP and qualification criteria based on proven pilots (Byline and iLending).
• Design the proof-of-value pilot structure with a clear metrics, timeline, and path to contract.
