Robinhood is seeking a Manager of Response, Automation, Intelligence and Detection Engineering (RAID) within SecOps to lead teams across North America, shaping the strategy and evolution of defensive security capabilities. You’ll build high‑performing teams, mature detection and incident response, and translate threats into scalable defenses with AI and automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, detection engineering, threat intelligence, or a closely related security discipline.
• 4+ years of experience leading high‑performing security engineering or security operations teams, including hiring and coaching.
• Experience building and scaling detection and response programs with incident response, detection engineering, processes, and metrics.
• Experience leading high‑severity security incidents and coordinating cross‑functional response efforts.
• Strong cloud, endpoint security, identity systems, SIEM/EDR foundation with leadership without being the primary implementer.
• Experience applying automation, AI, or software engineering to improve security operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with executive audiences.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fast‑growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Detection & Response and Threat Intelligence organizations across North America, setting the technical vision and execution priorities.
• Mature detection and incident response capabilities with improved coverage, workflows, and measurable outcomes.
• Define and track operational metrics using data to drive performance improvements.
• Lead security incident response for high‑severity events and conduct post‑incident reviews.
• Partner with Security Engineering, Infrastructure, Product Security, Trust & Safety, and Engineering leaders to translate threats into scalable capabilities.
• Drive automation, AI, and modern engineering practices to improve analyst productivity and scale operations.
• Contribute to long‑term security strategy, annual planning, budgeting, and organizational design.
