Job summary

Renesas seeks a Senior Director, Applications in the Performance Computing Power division to lead an organization that turns Renesas silicon into winning designs for AI and compute customers. This role requires building a scalable team, defining processes, and driving strong customer partnerships to accelerate production ramps.

You will oversee recruitment, leadership development, and cross-functional collaboration, while owning reference designs and end-to-end escalation management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Substantial experience in power electronics, power management semiconductors, or datacenter power delivery.
• Domestic and international travel to customer and Renesas sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the organization, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and talent development.
• Develop front-line managers and technical leads; create structure and cadence for a fast-growing global team.
• Scale customer enablement through automation, design guides, and reference materials.
• Own the reference design portfolio for AI and compute power delivery.
• Own technical escalations end to end and feed learnings back into the roadmap.
