Renesas is seeking a visionary Senior Manager / Director to lead Emerging Applications & Technology Architecture. You will guide a world‑class team, defining system architectures for AI, robotics, edge computing, and related innovations, bridging customers, partners and engineering groups to deliver semiconductor-enabled solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross‑functional influence, and drive across product and technology roadmaps in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in semiconductor, embedded systems, system architecture, or technology development roles.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams or senior engineering professionals.
• Proven track record in developing complex embedded systems and semiconductor-based solutions.
• Strong expertise in AI/Edge AI, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Functional Safety and Cybersecurity, IoT.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Renesas' system architecture strategy for emerging applications and emerging technologies.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new market opportunities, technology trends, and high-growth application segments.
• Translate customer challenges and market requirements into actionable system architectures and roadmaps.
• Lead architecture development leveraging Renesas MCUs, MPUs, SoCs, analog, power, sensing, AI, and connectivity products.
• Establish architecture methodologies and best practices across multiple domains.
