NYC Department for the Aging seeks a Director, Aging Connect Operations to lead the Aging Connect unit. The role reports to the Senior Director, collaborates with NY Connect, Special Initiatives, and HIICAP, and supports their programs and operations.

The position covers planning, monitoring, staff recruitment/training, reporting, and partnerships with city agencies and community partners to advance aging services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of full-time, professional experience in social services, community relations, public administration or management, including at least 1.5 years in an administrative or managerial capacity.
• Education and experience equivalent to the above; at least 1.5 years in administrative/managerial capacity.

Aufgaben

• Assist Senior Director with planning and implementing Aging Connect goals and priorities.
• Monitor day-to-day Aging Connect activities; serve as point of contact for operations, program and budget matters.
• Support aging connect project planning, execution, and staff onboarding and HR documents.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports on call data, initiatives, and Medicare metrics; analyze data to improve performance.
• Supervise volunteer program staff; recruit, engage, train, plan events and partnerships.
• Track program budgets in HHS Accelerator; coordinate with financial services and grant funding.
• Prepare program materials, presentations, and SOPs; assist with program assessments and customer satisfaction surveys.
• Develop advertisements and partnerships to raise awareness of Aging services.
