Job summary

Department for the Aging seeks a Director, Aging Connect Operations, to lead the Aging Connect unit in NYC. You will oversee program operations, budgeting, and reporting, collaborating with NY Connects, HIICAP, and external partners to advance aging services.

Responsibilities include planning, data analysis, staff recruitment, training, and developing partnerships to expand services for older adults and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor’s degree and five years of full-time, professional experience in social services, community relations, public administration or management, including administrative/managerial experience.
• One-and-one-half years of administrative/managerial experience if using alternative education/experience path.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Director with planning and implementing NYC Aging goals and priorities through Aging Connect.
• Monitor day-to-day activities and serve as a point of contact for all operations, program and budget matters.
• Support Aging Connect Directors with developing, planning, and executing projects.
