Scion Staffing, Inc. is conducting a search for a Senior Accounting Manager in San Francisco, CA to build and own the accounting function from the ground up within a growing hardware and physical-product environment.

This role is the company’s first senior accounting hire, offering the opportunity to establish processes, controls, and close procedures that scale with growth. The successful candidate will lead the monthly close end-to-end, establish accounting infrastructure, and partner with

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on responsibility.

Responsabilités

• Own the monthly close end-to-end, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
• Build and maintain inventory, cost, and manufacturing accounting processes for a scaling hardware business.
• Establish accounting infrastructure, internal controls, policies, and reporting systems while improving AP/AR and cash management.
• Produce accurate and timely financial reporting for leadership, the board, and investors while partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
• Coordinate federal, state, and sales tax compliance with external advisors and manage annual audit preparation and auditor relationships.
• Help build and ultimately manage the accounting team as the organization grows.
