Job summary

The Division of Anatomic Pathology at UPMC invites applications for a Pathologist in the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence. The position is academic clinical track with subspecialty training in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology and collaboration with UPSOM.

The successful candidate will sign out surgical pathology cases, mentor fellows and residents, and participate in translational research, supported by an infrastructure emphasizing digital pathology and AI.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board certification in Anatomic Pathology.
• Specialty training and academic interest in Head and Neck pathology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Strong scholarly record and publications.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck fellows and residents.
• Participate in research initiatives.
• Lead and guide diagnostic and research initiatives.
• Represent the department nationally and internationally.
