UPMC invites applications for a Pathologist to join the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence (COE) at UPMC Presbyterian-Shadyside Hospitals. The role emphasizes subspecialty training in Head and Neck Pathology, with an academic clinical track and opportunities in translational research.

The COE processes thousands of cases annually and collaborates closely with oncologic teams, with protected time for scholarly activity and teaching of fellows and residents.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and subspecialty interest in Head and Neck Pathology.
• Academic track record and interest in scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck Pathology fellows and residents.
• Represent the department nationally and internationally.
• Provide leadership for diagnostic and research initiatives within the COE.
• Collaborate with Head and Neck Surgical and Medical Oncology groups.
