Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian - UPMC seeks a Pathologist with subspecialty training in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology to join the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence. The role supports academic clinical activities, teaching, and leadership within a renowned, multidisciplinary environment affiliated with UPSOM.

The successful candidate will sign out surgical pathology cases, participate in translational pathology efforts, and collaborate with oncology groups.

Qualifications

• Subspecialty training in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology is required.
• Academic interest and involvement in translational pathology encouraged.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Sign out of surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck Pathology fellows and residents.
• Lead and participate in research initiatives and program development.
• Provide leadership to develop diagnostic and research initiatives.
