Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian - UPMC's Division of Anatomic Pathology invites applications for a Pathologist in the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence. The appointment is in the academic clinical track with subspecialty training and academic interest in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology.

The successful candidate will oversee translational pathology efforts, lead diagnostic and research initiatives, mentor fellows and residents, and participate in COE operations and national collaborations.

Qualifications

• Must have an M.D./DO and Board certified in Anatomic Pathology with specialty training and academic interest in head and neck pathology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
• A good record of and commitment to scholarly activities and publications.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases with leadership in Head and Neck pathology.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck Pathology fellows and residents.
• Lead and participate in translational pathology, diagnostic and research initiatives.
• Represent the department in COE meetings and national/international collaborations.
