Job summary

Chicago Marriott Northwest is seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to oversee the daily housekeeping operation and lead the team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction.

The Head Housekeeper will supervise staff, inspect rooms and public areas, manage supplies, address guest concerns, and ensure efficient operations in line with hotel standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping duties.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas to meet cleanliness standards.
• Review and assign rooms based on occupancy and needs.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and take corrective action.
• Train and coach housekeeping staff on policies and standards.
• Monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback to the team.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate orders.
• Work with General Manager and Maintenance on issues.
• Ensure spaces are cleaned and serviced per standards.
• Suggest improvements to efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure supplies, equipment, and resources are adequate.
