Hotel EMC2 in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and uphold exceptional cleanliness and guest experience across the hotel.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong staff development skills, capable of maintaining Marriott brand standards and coordinating with maintenance and front desk teams. Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of housekeeping or hospitality management experience, preferably in luxury or boutique hotels.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities.
• Experience with housekeeping management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces.
• Train, coach, and supervise housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain brand standards.
• Inspect rooms and public spaces regularly to ensure thorough cleaning and upkeep.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities; control costs effectively.
• Create and manage staff schedules to meet operational needs and maintain productivity.
• Collaborate with maintenance, front desk, and management teams to address guest requests and maintenance issues promptly.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and Marriott brand standards consistently.
• Manage departmental budgets and payroll within established guidelines.
