Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Peoria, AZ seeks a Head Golf Professional to oversee daily golf operations, shop and guest services staff, and coordinate with the Director of Golf to achieve service and sales goals.

The role requires PGA membership, 3–5 years of supervisory experience, budgeting and budgetary analysis skills, and strong leadership. A flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends is expected; related safety certifications are required.

Qualifications

• PGA membership or in process of obtaining required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five years' supervisory experience preferred.
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED and other safety certifications as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to analyze budgets and financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead Golf Shop and Guest Services staff to meet standards and drive revenue.
• Coordinate with Director of Golf on budget planning and capital projects.
• Maintain effective communication across team members and with HR.
• Oversee tournament operations and club events.
• Hire, supervise, and coach staff; provide performance feedback and succession planning.
• Develop staff schedules and assign tasks; perform supervision as needed.
• Train staff in golf operations, merchandising, and check-in procedures.
• Guide apprentices toward Class A Membership and BSRG certifications.
